On September 19, 2019, the TRIC was honored with a Commendation from the Administrator of the Korea Heritage Service at the 1st Heritage Korea Awards, held at the Hwabaek Convention Center in Gyeongju. This marked the first time the award was granted in recognition of contributions to national development through the promotion of the digital cultural heritage industry.
