Released at Shinsegae Square in Myeongdong in celebration of Buddha's Birthday, this content is a project that embodies the modeling beauty and sublimity of the main Buddha of Seokguram Grotto—highly regarded as the essence of Korean Buddhist art—tailored for a super-large public media environment. <K-Heritage Museum> is a brand of the Korea Heritage Service developed by TRIC. It is a public digital museum designed to extend national heritage beyond museums and historical sites, allowing citizens and tourists to enjoy it right in the heart of the city where they live and travel. Utilizing ultra-precise data-based digital heritage technology, TRIC has created content that conveys the serene dignity and the moving experience of the original Seokguram Grotto even through large-scale media in the city. Citizens and global tourists visiting Myeongdong will encounter Seokguram Grotto in a whole new way amidst the everyday cityscape. This project is an example that demonstrates the direction of <K-Heritage Museum>, which does not keep national heritage merely as an object of preservation but allows it to be experienced anew in today's spaces.
