On the evening of October 27, a grand multimedia show celebrating the opening of the APEC Summit took place at Gyeongju Bomun Lake. Hosted by Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and Gyeongju City and organized by the APEC Preparation Support Task Force, the outdoor spectacle combined water-screen media art, drone performance, lighting, and fireworks, drawing over 2,000 attendees. TRIC directed and produced key content visualizing iconic Silla heritage — including Cheomseongdae Observatory, the Bell of King Seongdeok, the ancient Silla capital, and Seokguram Grotto. The show opened with a performance by Honey J’s dance team, followed by dancers in hanbok appearing alongside the revived bell chime, with Silla’s landmarks unfolding across circular media structures and water screens. The performance adopted the butterfly motif — symbol of APEC 2025 — representing innovation and prosperity emerging from the cocoon of Silla culture and connecting Gyeongju to the world. The finale displayed the message “BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE TOMORROW” across the sky. * This content was produced as part of the project commissioned to EJWID Inc. and Dexter Studios for the “APEC 2025 Bomun Multimedia Show — Moon of a Millennium”.
