TRIC announced the completion of the “2020 Immersive Content Production for the World Art Gallery” project, commissioned by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the National Museum of Korea.
The project aimed to enhance the exhibition experience by creating immersive content using a variety of digital technologies.
For this initiative, TRIC produced immersive video content for the “World Ceramics Room” and the “Japan Room” within the museum’s World Art Gallery. The content illustrates the spread and influence of chinoiserie ceramics in Europe and explores Japanese history and tea culture through digital storytelling.
TRIC, a leading developer of immersive cultural heritage content, led the project by building digital twins of sites such as Charlottenburg Palace in Germany and designing content around them. The global VFX studio Dexter Studios joined as a consortium partner, contributing high-resolution on-site filming, advanced motion graphics, and matte painting to deliver high-quality visual content.
A TRIC representative stated, “By producing digital video content that interacts with visitors, we aim to transform museums and other cultural spaces into smarter, more engaging environments.”
